The trip
So, the whole purpose of starting this blog site in the first place... to 'document' the trip.A little bit about this trip for those who don't know. Ian and I are taking some time out of our lives here in Toronto to travel to some far off destinations (thinking China, India, and Africa right now) for some undetermined amount of time.
I can't believe this is actualy happening. We leave on March 13th and it still feels so surreal! There is still so much to do here before we fly out... I can't believe we'll be living out of a backpack for such a long time in just 3 weeks! wow.
Many have asked me if this was a difficult decision to make, to take this trip. My answer is... not at all. It really wasn't even a decision to make. It's just something I've wanted to do for so very long and when the right opportunity and time came along, it was just execution from there onwards.
I just can't believe this dream of mine is finally about to come true. I'm not even sure what to expect out there, I just know I want to explore, experience, and live. There is so much more out there to learn about. I absolutely cannot wait. I will try and share as many of the experiences I have with all of you here.
